PUMA has unveiled the new home and away jerseys for Ghana’s national team, the Black Stars.

The jerseys mark a return to yellow for the away kit, just in time for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers and the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in 2025.

This change comes at a crucial moment as Ghana faces the possibility of missing out on AFCON for the first time since 2004, adding a layer of anticipation and hope for supporters.

The jerseys, designed by the renowned German kit manufacturing company PUMA, are not only meant for the national team but are also available for fans to purchase and wear.

This move aims to strengthen the connection between the team and its supporters, allowing fans to show their pride and support in a tangible way. The jerseys are a celebration of Ghanaian culture, featuring the vibrant colours of the national flag, which are a source of national pride and unity.

What sets these jerseys apart is their bold, modern take on retro vibes and football nostalgia. They bring a fresh spin on classic elements, paying homage to the rich history of the sport and the memorable moments that have defined it. The design is a tribute to classic teams, matches, and jerseys, creating a sense of continuity and tradition while also embracing innovation and contemporary style.

The design details are meticulously crafted, with the PUMA logo positioned on the right side of the chest, the iconic Black Stars boldly displayed at the centre, and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) logo on the left.

This thoughtful arrangement not only highlights the brand and team identity but also ensures a balanced and aesthetically pleasing look. The jerseys are a testament to the collaboration between PUMA and the GFA, showcasing a blend of style and functionality.

As the Black Stars prepare for upcoming competitions, these new jerseys symbolise a fresh start and renewed vigor. They serve as a reminder of the team’s legacy and the passionate support of their fans.
