Ghanaian forward Raphael Dwamena, 28, has died after suffering a cardiac arrest during a football match in Albania.
Dwamena collapsed while playing for Egnatia, and despite swift medical attention and efforts to revive him, he did not regain consciousness.
The Albanian FA has officially confirmed the devastating news, marking a somber moment for the football community.
Dwamena, known for his contributions to the Black Stars, had made nine appearances and scored two goals for the national team.
