Hearts of Oak has officially confirmed the transfer of promising young talent Saani Mohammed to Danish second-tier side AC Horsens. The announcement, which was made through the club’s official Facebook page, highlights the club’s appreciation for the 18-year-old’s contributions during his time with the team. Hearts of Oak expressed their pride in having played a role in Mohammed’s development and extended their best wishes as he embarks on this new journey in Europe.

Saani Mohammed’s journey to Hearts of Oak began when he joined the club from the second-division outfit Soccer 4 Souls FC at the start of the current season. Despite being relatively new to the team, the young winger quickly made a name for himself. His standout performances included two crucial assists in a vital away victory against Young Apostles, showcasing his potential and ability to perform on the big stage.

AC Horsens, currently sitting fourth in the Danish NordicBet Liga with 31 points, is eager to strengthen its squad as they aim for promotion to the prestigious Danish Superliga. The addition of Mohammed is seen as a strategic move to enhance their attacking options and inject youthful energy into the team. His speed and creativity on the ball are expected to make an immediate impact as the club looks to climb the league standings.

The transfer of Saani Mohammed not only marks a new chapter in his career but also reflects the growing trend of African talents making their way to European leagues. Clubs in Europe are increasingly scouting young players from Africa, recognising the wealth of talent that exists on the continent. Mohammed’s move to Denmark could serve as an inspiration for other young Ghanaian players aspiring to make their mark in international football.
