Yesterday, March 28, 2022, there were some mixed feelings about the Black Stars of Ghana who were on the Nigerian pitch training when a black out occurred, most people are speculating that the Nigerians deliberately turned the lights off in order to frustrate the Black Stars of Ghana, but a Sports Journalist in Nigeria has given details as to how it all happened.

Speaking on GTV’s Breakfast show earlier this morning, Favour Itua explained that ”the stipulated time for Ghana to train was by 6pm Nigerian time which had elapsed and were asked to leave the field”.

The Black Stars and their Management Team refused to leave the stadium of which according to him the caretakers at the stadium came up with a solution by turning off the lights at the stadium to enable them to leave.

He concluded by reiterating that the blackout was not deliberate but it was as a result of the Ghanaian players refusing to leave the stadium after their training session had elapsed.
