Following their sterling performance in Georgia, the Ghana Para-Powerlifting team has left for Paris, France, for pre-tournament camping.

The 2024 Paralympic Games, which run from August 28 to September 8, 2024, will feature Ghana participating in various activities.

With the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the France Embassy in Ghana, and the Mayor of Gennevilliers, the six-member team is in Gennevilliers to smooth their rough edges ahead of the Games.

The six-man Team is made up of three athletes, two coaches, and one team leader. Training camp is to afford the athlete the opportunity to have better training regimes to help Ghana attain medals in the Games this September.

The three-member team includes Tahiru Haruna, Isaac Obeng, and Patricia Nyamekye, all athletes, with Prince Nyarko and George Ohene Adu serving as coaches under the team leadership of Majeed Eldeen.
