WAFU-B President Kurt Okraku has introduced new governance reforms to improve transparency, financial management, and accountability in the region.
He announced at the 17th WAFU-B Congress in Niamey, Niger. Okraku emphasized the need for these changes, saying, “We will hire internal auditors to ensure we always follow financial rules and regulations.” This move aims to improve financial integrity and increase trust in the region’s operations.
Okraku also shared plans to set up a fully operational Executive Committee to strengthen governance. He stated, “We will soon launch a complete Executive Committee.”
