Captain of the gallant Black Stars, Andre Morgan Dede Ayew says, playing in an empty Stadium should not be the biggest concern to both playing body and supporters of the Black Stars.
According to the talisman of the team, the situation of playing in an empty stadium is not limited to Ghana alone but majority of clubs and countries.
The Swansea City Winger admitted how important playing in front of supporters is to any team especially when playing at home and in particular the Cape Coast.
“Football is a game of people, it’s a game for the people, so football without fans lacks a very big thing usually people think it’s a small thing no it’s a big thing. Football is made for the fans and we are here to entertain. Even though it is a very important entertainment it has objectives ahead but it also something that people love.” he said.
The fact that we don’t have fans is difficult especially at home when I know what we saw here last year, it was something unbelievable, it was great. I will love play in same stadium again. I was praying that it happens again. But we don’t have to be too sad about this. Everything has its time and this covid-19 I pray to God that very soon it will be out so that everybody can start a normal living not only with football, but in everything we do.“he said.
