Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League Update: Five teams still unbeaten

The Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League has seen exciting performances in both the Northern and Southern Zones. As the season progresses, five teams remain undefeated, maintaining a perfect record. These teams are Ampem Darkoa Ladies, Dreamz Ladies, Jonina Ladies, Police Ladies, and Army Ladies.

Several players have been awarded the NASCO Player of the Match for their outstanding play. These players include Balchisu Ibrahim (FC Savannah), Victoria Teilar (Fosu Royal Ladies), Beatrice Akwaboah (Northern Ladies), Stella Nyamekye (Dreamz Ladies), Victoria Banful (Ampem Darkoa), Mariama Foriwaa (Army Ladies), Grace Animah (Police Ladies), Asana Hamidu (Ladystrikers), and Abigail Bosu (Jonina Ladies).

So far, the league has recorded the following key statistics:

Total goals scored: 62 (28 away goals and 34 home goals)
Draws: 4
Goals are evenly split between the first and second halves: 31 each
Penalties awarded: 4 (2 converted, 2 missed)
Yellow cards: 82
Red cards: 3
Own goals: 1
Two goalkeepers, Evelyn Yeboah from Ampem Darkoa and Alice Anning from Dreamz Ladies, have also impressed by keeping clean sheets.

The race for the top scorer is heating up, with Josephine Addowaa from Jonina Ladies and four other players leading with three goals each. The league promises more thrilling action as the competition continues.
