Black Queens suffered a disappointing 1-0 defeat to Senegal in their second match against them in the last four days. Despite winning the first game 1-0, the Queens were unable to replicate their form this time around, as Senegal proved to be a tough opponent. The Senegalese team did not allow any room for complacency and ensured that they beat the Black Queens this time around.

The match was a closely contested affair, with both teams creating chances but ultimately, Senegal’s clinical finishing proved to be the difference-maker. The Black Queens had opportunities to score, but they were unable to capitalize on them. Chaney’s long drive in the 58th minute missed the post by inches, and the team was unable to find the back of the net despite their best efforts.

Head coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren will be disappointed with the result, but he will take heart from the positives that can be picked from the match. Despite the defeat, the Black Queens have shown promise and are building towards a formidable side for the WAFCON tournament. Bjorkegren has now won one out of three games played under his supervision, and he will be looking to build on the team’s progress.

The match was a tough one for the Black Queens, but they will take encouragement from their performance. The team was equal at halftime, and they had opportunities to score in the second half. However, Senegal’s defense held firm, and they were able to secure the win.

The Black Queens will now look to regroup and prepare for their next match. Despite the defeat, the team is still confident and is building towards a strong performance in the WAFCON tournament. With more positives to pick from their matches, the team is determined to make a statement and prove themselves as a force to be reckoned with in African football.
