Black Stars have arrived in Morocco ahead of their next FIFA World Cup qualifier against Madagascar on Monday, March 24, 2025. The team departed on Saturday, March 22, 2025, on the heels of their dominant 5-0 win over Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday.

Ghana’s convincing victory over Chad has boosted their confidence ahead of the crucial match against Madagascar. The Black Stars produced a commanding display, taking the lead within 90 seconds through Antoine Semenyo. Goals from Inaki Williams, Jordan Ayew, Mohammed Salisu, and Ernest Nuamah sealed the win, showcasing the team’s attacking prowess.

The Black Stars currently sit top of Group I with 12 points, and a win against Madagascar on Monday would further strengthen their position and move them closer to securing a spot at the 2026 World Cup. Ghana’s qualifying campaign has been impressive so far, with the team bouncing back from a loss to Comoros with consecutive wins against Mali and the Central African Republic.

The match against Madagascar is expected to be a tougher test for the Black Stars, given the short rest period and travel involved. However, with momentum on their side, Otto Addo’s men will be aiming for another strong performance. The team will be looking to build on their dominant display against Chad and maintain their position at the top of the group.

The Black Stars’ next match against Madagascar will take place on Monday, March 24, 2025, at the Grand Stade d’Al Hoceima in Morocco. The game was relocated from Antananarivo due to the unapproved status of Madagascar’s national stadium. With a win, Ghana will take another step closer to securing their spot at the 2026 World Cup.
