Ghana’s Black Stars have moved up one place to 76th in the latest FIFA Coca-Cola World Rankings following a strong showing in the March international break.

The team recorded emphatic victories in their World Cup qualifiers, defeating Chad and Madagascar while scoring eight goals and keeping two clean sheets. These performances have not only improved their global ranking but also cemented their position at the top of Group I.

On the African stage, Ghana remain in 14th place, reflecting the intense competition in continental football. Morocco continues to lead the African rankings at 12th globally, followed by Senegal, Egypt, Algeria, and Ivory Coast.

At the top of the world rankings, Argentina maintain their number one spot, with Spain moving into second place. France, England, and Brazil complete the top five in a highly competitive international landscape.

The Black Stars will return to action in June for the Unity Cup, a preparatory tournament ahead of the resumption of World Cup qualifiers in September.

With their current form and a strong standing in their qualifying group, Ghana will be looking to maintain their momentum as they push for a place at the next World Cup. Fans remain hopeful that the team’s upward trajectory will continue on the global stage.
