President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, has been elected to the Executive Committee (EXCO) of the Confederation of African Football (CAF). This achievement marks a new chapter in Okraku’s leadership journey as he becomes the sixth Ghanaian to serve on the prestigious 24-member committee. His four-year term, which will run from 2025 to 2029, was secured through an uncontested election.

Under his stewardship, Ghanaian football has seen some resurgence, with notable strides made in women’s football and youth development. His vision and dedication have not only revitalized the sport in Ghana but also earned him widespread acclaim across the African football community.
