Asante Kotoko fought back to earn a crucial point against defending champions Samartex in a pulsating encounter at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena on Saturday, March 15, 2025. The 1-1 draw ensured the Porcupine Warriors remained at the summit of the league table.

Meanwhile, Dreams FC secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Hearts of Oak in match week 24 of the Ghana Premier League at the University of Ghana Stadium. Abdul Razak Salifu’s early strike proved decisive, as Hearts failed to capitalize on their dominance, especially in the second half.

In other matches, Young Apostles returned to winning ways in the Ghana Premier League following a 1-0 victory over struggling Accra Lions. Issah Hussein netted the only goal of the game, as the hosts took advantage of a scrappy moment in the second half to secure all three points. Bibiani GoldStars, on the other hand, missed a chance to go top of the Ghana Premier League after suffering a 2-0 defeat to Aduana FC.

Heart of Lions edged past Karela United with a 1-0 victory at the Kpando Sports Stadium on Sunday, moving up to second in the Ghana Premier League table, just one point behind leaders Kotoko. Kwesi Pong’s 76th-minute goal proved decisive in a tightly contested match. Bechem United also racked up a 2-0 win against premier league debutants, Vision FC, with Yaw Annor scoring a first-half brace.

Asante Kotoko’s draw against Samartex has kept them at the summit, but their closest challengers are breathing down their necks. The next round of matches promises to be just as exciting, with several key fixtures lined up.
