The Netball Federation of Ghana (NFG), in collaboration with the Asante Akim South Ghana Education Service (GES), is set to organise a four-day intensive netball training workshop aimed at equipping sports teachers across the district with modern skills, rules, and regulations of the game.

Scheduled to take place from March 11th to 14th, 2025, at Obogu Presby School, the training will run daily from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The workshop will be led by experienced facilitators, including Rev. E. D. Nikoi, President of the Netball Federation of Ghana, and Mr. Eugene N.A. Tetteh, Deputy Technical Director of NFG.

As part of NFG’s broader mission to enhance the development and promotion of netball across the country, this training will focus on upskilling teachers, ensuring they are well-versed in the latest techniques and officiating standards.

By empowering educators, the federation seeks to foster greater participation in netball and improve the quality of training at the grassroots level.

This initiative aligns with Project Bonolo, a nationwide effort to introduce and expand various sports in local communities.

Through this program, NFG is taking deliberate steps to make netball more accessible and impactful in underserved regions.
