Black Queens will face Egypt in a two-legged clash in October 20 and 28, 2025 for the second round of qualifiers of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) which will be held in Morocco. The tournament promises to be a showcase of African women’s football talent, with teams vying for bragging rights and a spot in the prestigious competition.
Both teams, Ghana and Egypt, bring their own unique strengths to the table. Ghana, fresh off their qualifying victory over Namibia, aims to secure back-to-back WAFCON appearances, having already secured qualification for the 2025 edition.
