Ghana sees boost in domestic air travel

After three months of reopening the country’s airspace for businesses and for the aviation industry to bounce back again due to the adverse effect of COVID-19 pandemic, domestic travelling has become quite encouraging and picking up gradually, while international travel is hectic and complicated.

Managing Editor of Aviation Ghana, Dominic Andoh, says with the gradual easing of restrictions in most countries across the world, the airline sector is beginning to recover from the adverse effect of the Coronavirus pandemic but warned that with the second wave of coronavirus infection across Europe, travelling to some European countries will be difficult.

Speaking on GTV’s Market Avenue, Mr. Andoh outlined measures on some travelling guidelines on International flights to some countries across the globe.

Mr. Andoh said there are several incentive packages for travellers from the various airlines to facilitate and encourage international travel again.
