Emmanuel Senyo Amekplenu, National Communication Team Member for the New Patriotic Party speaking on GTV’s breakfast show on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, asserted that Ghana needs to upgrade in already existing resources and not reset in it’s systems.
According to him upgrading means creating jobs for a million youth in terms of digital skills, ensuring teachers and nurses are given incentive taxes when buying cars from outside and creating more jobs in the security agencies.
“We as a party are resolute, firm and are going to ensure that the voices of Ghanaians be heard on December 7 without any manipulation from the NDC,” he said.
He further continued that resetting means reminding Ghanaians of the electrical issues they went through some years ago and the cancelation of the teachers and nursing training allowances.
Senyo Amepklenu also elaborated that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as a party have never said anything positive about the Electoral Commission(EC) right from the beginning and how they are of the notion that every action taken by the EC isn’t good and benefits the NPP only.
He then cautioned the Electoral Commission to be mindful of its dealings since some of the activities of the opposition party (NDC) creates unnecessary comments that do not merit on social media.
