Adamu Ramadan: Adenta MP honoured

The Member of Parliament for the Adentan Constituency, Mr. Mohammed Adamu Ramadan, has been honoured for his outstanding role towards development in his constituency.

The High Council of Adentan Municipal Zongo and Tribal Chiefs, who honoured him with a citation, urged Ghanaians to demonstrate political maturity and work together to consolidate the peace of the country ahead of the upcoming general elections on December 7.

The High Council of Adentan Municipal Zongo and Tribal Chiefs presented the citation of honour to the MP for the Adentan Constituency. The PRO for the High Council of Adentan Municipal Zongo and Tribal Chiefs, Mr, Nazif Abdel Rakeez, said the citation is to appreciate Mr. Mohammed Adamu Ramadan for his immense contribution and support towards development in his constituency. ‘It is difficult for MPs to fight for developmental projects for their constituency once its political party is not in power; however, Honorable Mohammed Adamu Ramadan has been able to mobilise and lobby for support to help solve the poor drainage system Adentan Constituency was facing.’

The Member of Parliament for the Adentan Constituency, Mr. Mohammed Adamu Ramadan, thanked the community for the award and pledged to work hard to bring more development to the area. ‘This citation shows that hard work pays, and I pledge to continuously work hard for the betterment of my constituency.’

He also urged Ghanaians to guard against hate speech, which can inspire violence during elections.

There was a general call for collective responsibility from all stakeholders to ensure justice, peace and fairness before, during, and after the elections.
