A Divisional Chief of the Otinnor Traditional Area in the Greater Accra region, Nii Afotey Botwe II, has expressed delight in seeing the youths of this country being exposed to other cultures and traditions.
The respected Chief was a special guest at a multicultural dance event dubbed ‘The Good News Corps’, organised by the International Youth Fellowship (IYF), which was held at the IYF centre in Tema, Community 12, on February 27th, 2023.
Speaking to GBC News, Nii Afotey Botwe opined that the event is very important to the upbringing of the children of this country at this time.
He believes that the children who go through such programmes will be inculcated with courage and confidence and, consequently, have a great future.
He urged the leadership of the country to take part in events like this. He said this will help the nation do proper planning to attain sustainable development.
Citing Korea as an example, he explained that Ghana can grow at a faster rate if the youths are given more of these trainings.
