Director-General of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC)Professor Amin Alhassan shares the mystery behind the smock he wore for the launch of the Heritage Month on February 22, 2022. He revealed that his smock was given to him by the Ya Na. As such, he wore that in honour of him.
“When I was appointed the Director-General of GBC, Ya Na sent me a parcel of a gift and when I opened it, I saw a Smock, and I wear it to honour him.”
He explained that he wore a similar smock last year which was also given to him by Wa Na to crown the month of Heritage with much honour of him.
GBC’s Heritage Month begins and Staff and Management will devote 31days to celebrating Ghana through food, music and clothing. All of GBC’s Channels and social media platforms would also join in celebrating our Heritage.
