Inauguration of new DVLA office complex at Narhman in Accra

Chief of Staff, Akosua Frema Opare says government remains resolute in its drive to ensure effective decentralizing of public services to spread development to every part of the country. She said the new DVLA office complex underscores government’s broader vision of strengthening public institutions such as DVLA to meet the demands of Ghanaians.

Madam Frema Opare said this during the inauguration of the new DVLA office complex at Narhman in Accra.

The Ultra-modern office replaces the former Greater Accra Regional office located at 37. This new office was constructed to make way for the re-development of that area into a business hub.

The new edifice represents the Authority’s commitment to improving service delivery for customers while maintaining best practices in driver and vehicle licensing to promote road safety. It has state-of-the art features and incorporates the latest technologies. It has also been designed to facilitate efficient service delivery and equipped with modernized and digital tools to streamline DVLA’s operations.

Chief of Staff, Akosua Frema Opare said the transportation sector is the lifeline of trade and commerce hence the need to innovate to make commuters comfortable. “The DVLA has continually adapted to the Ghanaian population. This facility, the largest as we are told in its operations, serve as an iconic reflection of that progress.’’

Chief Executive of the DVLA, Kwasi Agyemang Busia emphasized that the new office aligns with the Authority’s mission to improving public service delivery through innovation and excellence.

He noted that; “this office represents our ongoing commitment to adapt to the evolving needs of our customers, embracing new technologies and maintaining the highest standards in vehicle and driver licensing.

Our goal is to serve our clients in a conducive environment with efficiency, safety and convenience.

The Authority envisions a future where its services will not only confine to the present, but will aid the Authority to innovate through research and development and offer quality services to clients.
