The National Cadet Corps Ghana, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ghana Education Service, the Ghana Armed Forces, other Security Services and the National Youth Authority, will commemorate the 63rd Republic Day on Saturday, July 1, 2023.
The event will take place at the Black Stars Square. The theme for this year’s celebration is: ‘Esprit De-Corps, Our Strength and Purpose’.
The aim is to highlight the significance of patriotism, discipline, volunteerism, unity and a shared sense of purpose in fostering national development and progress among Ghanaians.
A statement from the Cadet Corps Ghana, says it recognizes the invaluable contributions of cadets and the profound impact they have had over the years on the nation’s pride.
The Guest of Honour and reviewing Officer for the July 1, 2023 parade is the Chief of Staff at the Office of the President, Madam Akosua Frema Osei-Opare.
The statement said her presence reflects the Government’s commitment to youth development and the recognition of the National Cadet Corps as a vital institution shaping the leaders of tomorrow.
The statement said, the Republic Day event promises to be a memorable and inspiring occasion, filled with vibrant displays by Cadets drawn from Educational institutions in all 16 Regions of Ghana to showcase their training and skills through captivating drills and demonstrations, reflecting the core values of the National Cadet Corps, Ghana.
