The Digital Media Influence Bootcamp, in collaboration with Let’s Go North initiative, held in Tamale, empowered northern Ghanaian youth with essential skills and knowledge to build a strong brand in today’s digital landscape.
The conference, themed “Building Brands in a Digital World,” featured two engaging sessions: a training session and a panel discussion.
Dunstan Guba, a certified ethical hacker and cybercrime investigator, emphasised the importance of understanding algorithms for businesses and individuals seeking to grow their online presence and succeed in social media marketing.
SDK, Ghana’s food content maestro, shared insights on influencer marketing, while award-winning TV presenter and communication trainer Kafui Dey spoke about public speaking and building self-confidence.
Kafui Dey revealed that sitting in the front seat in gatherings can help build confidence, as it allows individuals to face the crowd without intimidation.
The panel discussion, featuring Fuseina Issah, Mohammed Hafiz, and Maltiti Sayida Sadick, was highly interactive, with attendees asking questions and engaging with the panelists.
The event was sponsored by several organisations, including Verna Water, Passion Air, the National Youth Authority, Adee’s Food, Radach Lodge, UDS SRC, Saks Initiative, Adnan Lodge, and Twellium Industrial.
The bootcamp is set to take place again next year, providing another opportunity for northern Ghanaian youth to develop their digital media skills.
