LIVE: Parliament vets Haruna Iddrisu, Minister Designate for Education

Three ministerial nominees in President John Mahama’s administration are appearing before Parliament’s Appointments Committee today for vetting.

The session began with Governs Kwame Agbodza, the Minister-Designate for Roads and Highways and Member of Parliament for the Adaklu Constituency.

Next to appear before the committee is Haruna Iddrisu, nominated as Minister for Education.

Also scheduled for scrutiny later is Eric Opoku, the Minister-Designate for Food and Agriculture.

The vetting process is a key step in confirming individuals selected for critical roles in the government, ensuring they meet the qualifications and expectations of their respective offices.
