An explosion took place at a chemical factory in northeastern Japan on Tuesday, injuring four people, local media reported.
According to local authorities, no toxic gases have been detected.
The blast occurred at around 7:45 a.m. local time at Sakai Chemical Industry Co.’s Yumoto Factory in Iwaki, Fukushima Prefecture, authorities said.
Three of the injured people suffered burns, with one seriously hurt and another with a minor injury, according to local authorities.
