Kim Jong Un is heading back to North Korea after a summit with Vladimir Putin in Russia.

The two leaders met at the Vostochny Cosmodrome in Russia’s far east.

After dinner, the Russian leader toasted Kim’s health and the two countries’ friendship.

Putin raised his glass and said: “A toast to the future strengthening of cooperation and friendship between our countries.

“For the well-being and prosperity of our nations, for the health of the chairman and all of those present.”

Kim responded in kind saying: “I propose a toast to Putin’s health.”

Kim earlier said “we will always support the decisions of President Putin and… we will be together in the fight against imperialism”.

Putin says Russia will help North Korea build satellites – after the North failed twice this year to launch them.

It’s also feared the two discussed an arms deal to help Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
