Speaking on the theme; the vision of the founders, relevance after 90 years in the current technological world; the president of the \u2018\u2019beleoo 99\u2019\u2019 badge and Senior Communications Advisor at Tullow Oil Ghana<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bleoobi Anani Yao Kuwornu urged the students to hold high the virtues exhibited by the founders of the school which has transformed Accra Academy. Teachers on the other hand, were encouraged to adopt modern technology to remain relevant in the changing trend of teaching methods. He was speaking in an interview with GBC News.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bleoobi Anani Yao Kuwornu called for reforms to change Ghana\u2019s educational curriculum to prepare students for the contemporary job market. He also charged the school’s alumni to support the development of the school. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The head of the business department at Accra Academy, Mr. Daniel Lamptey, said the Founder\u2019s Day has over the years helped change the mindset of the students to be committed to the values of the school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Accra Academy Founders\u2019 Day is held each year in honour of four courageous personalities \u2013 George Kofi Konuah, James Akwei Halm-Addo, Samuel Neils Awuletey and Godfried Narku Alema who contributed to the establishment and development of the school Accra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
