Nketiah stressed that the NDC must play a critical role in ensuring a smooth transition, warning that Ghanaians will not forgive the party if it fails to deliver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We need to assist in the formation of the new government&#8230; The same enthusiasm with which we were brought up, it is that level of expectation [that Ghanaians look up to],&#8221; he stated during John Dramani Mahama&#8217;s inauguration as president on January 7, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The NDC chairman acknowledged the significant challenges ahead, despite the party&#8217;s victory in the recent elections. &#8220;We have a huge challenge and responsibility to make sure we do not fail Ghanaians. Victory doesn\u2019t mean we don\u2019t have challenges,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hon.
