President John Dramani Mahama<\/a> has accepted the request of Mrs. Elsie Addo Awadzi,<\/a> the Second Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana, for early retirement, effective February 28, 2025. The decision was announced in a press release signed by Presidential Spokesperson Felix Kwakye Ofosu on February 7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The President also expressed his gratitude for Mrs. Awadzi\u2019s service to the Bank and the Republic, wishing her well in her future endeavors.<\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

According to the press release, \u201cPresident John Dramani Mahama has accepted the decision of Mrs. Elsie Addo Awadzi to take early retirement from the Bank with effect from 28th February 2025,\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Mrs. Awadzi\u2019s request follows Dr. Ernest Addison, the immediate past Governor of the bank, proceeding on terminal leave and Dr. Johnson Asiama has replaced him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
