Deputy Greater Accra Regional Minister Madam Elizabeth Sackey says the numerous chieftancy disputes and litigations in the Greater Accra Region can only be resolved through the good will of the parties involved rather than the law courts.
\nThere is therefore the need for the people to come together to thrash out all these cases for the overall development of the region.
\nMadam Sackey was speaking in Accra at the launch of the report of the late VCRAC fact Finding and Advisory Committee on the customary rights for the nomination, selection, election and installation of Ga Mantse.
\nThe committee was put in place 12 months ago under the chairmanship of then Justice VCRAC Crabbe who died before the committee wound up its activities.
\nAlso speaking at the event a retired diplomat, S.K Parker Allotey who chaired the function said the 15 year old conflict over the rightful occupant of the Ga stool is drawing back development.
