The Ghana Police Service has confirmed that the two victims who died in the East Legon accident last Saturday, October 12, 2024, were 12-year-old girls. They were in a Honda Acura with registration number GR 2542 – 23, when it was struck from behind, trapping them inside.

The collision involved a white Jaguar with registration number GN 7801 – 20, driven by a 16-year-old son of Bishop Elisha Salifu Amoako from Alive Chapel International.

Joseph Ackah was driving the Honda Acura, which had two other occupants at the time of the accident. The driver, Joseph Ackah, and the two other occupants survived the accident, but the two girls were tragically burned beyond recognition.

The impact caused both vehicles to collide with a wooden electric pole, which led to the wires falling onto the car and igniting a fire.

Meanwhile, Bishop Elisha Salifu Amoako of Alive Chapel International and the mother of his son, Mouha Amoako, have been arrested and detained by the police following their son’s involvement in the East Legon accident last Saturday, which resulted in the tragic deaths of the two 12-year-old girls.
