Joana Gyan Foundation appeals to Ghanaians to support Amenfi Central’s devpt agenda

A Non-Governmental Organisation, Joana Gyan Foundation, has appealed to Ghanaians at home and abroad to support Amenfi Central’s development agenda drive.

The Founder of the Joana Gyan Foundation, who doubles as the Mpuntuo Hemaa of Wassa Agona Amenfi, Madam Joana Gyan Cudjoe, made the call at the launch of the ‘Amenfi Central Big Push Mpuntuo’ initiative.

The ‘Amenfi Central Big Push Mpuntuo’ initiative, which seeks to improve living standards for those residing in the Amenfi Central community, was launched over the weekend at the plush Kempinski Gold Coast City Hotel in Accra.

The ‘Amenfi Central Big Push Mpuntuo’ initiative aims to raise an amount of GH₵100 million to uplift and further improve the standard of living of people residing in the Amenfi Central community.

Addressing the gathering, Madam Gyan Cudjoe, emphasised that her goal for the ‘Amenfi Central Big Push Mpuntuo’ initiative is to provide the district with standardised social amenities, including potable drinking water, police stations, fire service centres, schools, hospitals, better roads, bridges, quality healthcare, and scholarships for brilliant but needy students.

The ‘Amenfi Central Mpuntuo Fund’ she explained will cater to the well-being of the people of Amenfi Central and its adjoining areas. The fund aims to continue until its realization in the region. The Mpuntuo Hemaa of Wassa Agona Amenfi added.

Therefore, she urged Ghanaians home and abroad, business partners, and corporate bodies who want to support the cause to reach out to her desk since the project continues until it has been duly realised in the region.

The Saturday night event brought together foreign investors from Turkey, Trinidad and Tobago, India, and other European countries, as well as Africa and the world.

Traditional leaders from Amenfi Central, Nzema, and other areas in the Western Region also graced the colorful occasion.

Among the notable contributors on the night were Dr. Thomas Mensah, a Ghanaian-American chemical engineer and inventor, and Mr. J. D. Singh, the Global Head of Sales & Client Management.
