The President of International Union University, (IUU), Professor Dr. Muhammed Khair Al-Gabbani, and his partners have announced the provision of educational scholarships to 500 brilliant but needy Ghanaian students to study abroad.
The IUU President and partners are in Ghana to construct a library and a museum in honour of Ghana’s National Chief Imam, Dr. Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu.
The ground made the announcement when they called on Dr. Nuhu Sharubutu in Accra,
“This year, 500 brilliant and needy students in Ghana stand to benefit from free educational scholarships offered by the International Union University.
The online scholarship application process will soon be opened for students aspiring to further their education at the university.
Successful applicants will have the opportunity to attend professional universities in Indonesia, Turkey, and Iran, he reiterated.
According to Dr. Al-Gabbani, a robust education system not only broadens access to opportunities but also enhances health and strengthens community resilience. “Simultaneously, it fuels economic growth to reinforce and accelerate these positive processes,” he noted.
Dr.Al-Gabbani stated that plans are underway to secure land for the construction of a library and museum in honour of Ghana’s National Chief Imam, Dr. Usman Nuhu Sharubutu, with the groundbreaking expected in September 2024.
One of the brains behind this initiative, Mr. Nana Yaw Nsiah, believes the construction of a library and museum in the country will undoubtedly have a significant impact on Ghana’s youth.
