A ceremony is underway at the MANHYIA Palace in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region to allow the Flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party, NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to introduce his choice of a Running Mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu Ababio, and his sub chiefs, in line with Asante custom and tradition.
This ceremony heralds the official outdooring of Dr. Opoku Prempeh, affectionately called NAPO to the rank and file of the NPP and by extension, members of the public in his home region.
