Erzoah Bogoro, a family member of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah who was the First President of Ghana has stated that ever since Dr. Nkrumah’s body was deposed, his family has been neglected.
He made this revelation on GTV’s Breakfast Show while speaking to Kafui Dey from Half Assini in the Western Region, Home Town of Osagyefo.
Kwame Nkrumah who was born on 21st September, 1909, was a Ghanaian Politician, Political Theorist, and Revolutionary. He was the first Prime Minister and President of Ghana, having led the Gold Coast to independence from Britain in 1957.

Today, marks 50 years since Dr. Nkrumah died in Bucharest, Romania, in 1972. who died of an unspecified but apparently incurable illness.
Mr. Bogoro, a Family Member of Dr. Nkrumah revealed that “they came to destroy the grave of the father of the Osagyefo after his death, adding that they demolished everything which is not good”.
Mr. Bogoro again stated that every time he recalls the incident, he sheds tears, adding that, the family has been neglected.
The spokesperson for Dr. Nkrumah’s family sent a message across to the government. ”My message to the government is that they should not forget the Pioneers of the Nation”.
