Wife of the late Vice President under the Kufuor Administration, Alhaji Aliu Mahama, Hajia Ramatu Mahama, has been reported dead.
Sources close to the family confirmed the news. She died at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra, on Thursday, April 7, 2022, after she was admitted on Monday. She was 70.
According to the family, funeral plans will be revealed at a later date. Hajia Ramatu Mahama has been battling a heart-related sickness for about two years now and was taken to the United Kingdom for treatment in 2021.
