The National Democratic Congress (NDC), has called for a national debate on Sector comparative analysis which, according to the National Chairman of the Party, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, the ”NDC stands tall in all sectors of the economy”.

Mr. Ofosu Ampofo made the point in a challenge to the NPP at a Town Hall meeting organised by the Communication Bureau of the NDC in Kumasi.

GBC’s Razak Baba reports that the Kumasi Town Hall meeting was on Ghana’s economy. The leaders of the party spoke of why they believe the country’s economy is on what they termed ”life support”.

The Member of Parliament for Techiman North, Elizabeth Ofosu Agyare, spoke on why NDC MPs voted against the implementation of the E-Levy, highlighting the difficulty with the taxpayer.

The Member of Parliament for Yapei-Kusawgu, John Jinapor, accused the government of failing to use money raised from loans and taxes judiciously.

Party Chairman of the NDC, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo called for a national debate to compare the performance of the NDC and the current NPP administration in all sectors of the economy.
