President Akufo-Addo will officially open the 13th edition of the All African Games in Accra today.
Ahead of the official opening, a delegation that included officials of the African Union, AU, the local organising committee, and the Sports Minister, Mustapha Yusif, presented the torch of the 13th edition of the Games to the President at a short ceremony at the Jubilee House, Accra.
The ceremony at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium will bring together the Heads of State, high level dignitaries, athletes, officials and spectators from across the continent to mark the commencement of this awaited special event.
The theme of the 13th African Games is “Experience the African Dream.”
