English-born Ghanaian defender Tariq Lamptey has returned to training at Brighton after a lengthy spell on the sidelines due to injury.
Lamptey suffered a hamstring injury in December and was close to making a return in January when he was dealt with another injury blow, which kept him out for four months.
The 20-year-old had an explosive start to the 2020/21 season, making eleven appearances and providing three assists. He scored his first Premier League goal in the game against Tottenham Hotspurs.
The exciting right back has been attracting interests across Europe with German giants Bayern Munich and Spanish side Atletico Madrid keen on securing his signature.
Meanwhile, in England, Arsenal and Everton have been keeping tabs on the defender.
Lamptey has represented England at youth levels but he is yet to make a decision on his international future.
Brighton will host Manchester City at the Amex Park on Tuesday before a final day trip to Arsenal but it is unlikely that the returning defender could feature in any of the games.
