In a Matchday 9 clash of the Ghana Premier League held at the Hohoe Stadium, Heart of Lions and Accra Hearts of Oak played to a goalless draw.
Despite a strong start in the first half by both teams, Heart of Lions, the lower-ranked side, failed to capitalise on their opportunities to score. Neither team managed to find the back of the net, resulting in a 0-0 draw on Wednesday, November 8.
This outcome marked a string of winless home matches, with three consecutive draws and a loss this season, indicating a challenging start for them this season.
The Phobians, who were the favourites, were seeking to secure all three points in the match but were left disappointed with a draw, as they aimed to move up in the league standings.
Heart of Lions currently occupy the bottom position in the Ghana Premier League with 7 points, while Accra Hearts of Oak are in the 10th position with 11 points after Game Week 9.
